From 08h00 on Friday it was all systems GO, GO, GO!
We are thrilled with the impact Boksburg SPCA Clinic made on Friday – 37 sterilisations done and dusted!
24 Cats – (11F; 13M)
13 Dogs – (8F; 5M)
These 37 sterilisations prevent thousands of puppies and kittens entering the heartbreaking overpopulation cycle of neglect, cruelty, abandonment and euthanasia! We are so grateful for the responsible pet owners who chose to be #PartOfTheSolution by sterilising their pets.
Thanks to the intervention of Kempton Park Feral Felines, 19 of the cats were from Sonop Caravan Park, providing relief to unemployed owners, and preventing a huge explosion of kittens!
HEROES IN SCRUBS!
A massive THANK YOU to our amazing vets who worked tirelessly on the day … Dr Zandri and Dr Athiksha, Vet Assistants Johannes & Thabo and committee member Sue. True animal welfare warriors!
